We were so lucky to get to speak with Michael, a long-time patient at Lipkowitz Dental, about his SureSmile treatment and overall experience with the practice.
What was your smile like before coming to Lipkowitz Dental?
So before coming to Lipkowitz Dental, I had an issue grinding my teeth at night. It had gone on for years, and I sort of ignored it, but with social media and having your picture taken every day, you’re constantly being shown to the world. I stopped smiling because when I smiled, I had worn so much of the top down, you couldn’t even see white. So, I came to Dr. Rob, and he said we can fix that.
I think in general I needed an overhaul, so we addressed all the issues – we cosmetically corrected the upper teeth, and we also worked on straightening them. I did the SureSmile, which is still in right now, and it’s been a good experience.
How did you hear about SureSmile, and what has the process been like?
I knew there was something out there, and when I came to Dr. Rob and told him about the issues I wanted to deal with, he suggested it. It worked out well!
I’m honestly at a loss for words now that I am toward the end of the process. I still have a bit more to go, but I’m super happy. We’re working on my bottom teeth, but I’m thrilled every morning when I look in the mirror to see straight teeth again.
What would you say to someone considering cosmetic dentistry?
Honestly, it’s a little bit of work. You’re going to spend some time in the chair, but at the end of the day, you’re going to be happy.
Dr. Rob and his team are all great. They’re super friendly, super easy, super flexible with scheduling, and everything has gone very smoothly over the past year.
