Dr. Rob Lipkowitz

Dr. Lipkowitz  has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. He is devoted to his patients and goes above and beyond to make their entire experience rewarding and stress-free.

Dental health is incredibly important to overall health and my goal is to help every patient achieve their healthiest, most beautiful smile.

Dr. Lipkowitz graduated from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery with honors in 1986. After graduating he was selected for a hospital-based residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He started his practice in Magnolia, MA in 1990. 

He is dedicated to continually educating himself and improving his skills:

  • In 1993 he completed 300 hours of implant training from Harvard University’s Implant Dentistry seminars. He continued his Implant training with another 300 hours of training at Brookdale Hospital in NY.
  • He completed a 3-year program in Practice Development from the Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, AZ. 
  • He has also completed a 3-year continuum Mastering Techniques in Advanced Dental Reconstruction and TMJ (jaw joint) disorders at the Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, FL. 
  • Over the past 6 years he has been continuing his studies of Advanced Dental Treatment at Spear education, one of the leading educational institutions committed to excellence in continued education for dentists.

He has published many articles on Cosmetic and Implant dentistry as well as Quality Care issues in local and national dental journals. Dr. Lipkowitz served for many years on the executive board of the North Shore Dental Society and is the former editor of the North Shore Dental Society monthly newsletter.

Dr. Lipkowitz is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Spear Education Faculty Club and is the past President of the Manchester Essex Rotary Club.

 He lives in Beverly with his wife and dogs. His hobbies include swimming, skiing, bicycling and teaching the traditional martial art of Aikido.

Emily has a varied background having worked in fields ranging from energy conservation to hospitality to non-profit social services. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a BS in Plant Biology. Emily enjoys being part of a team that delivers excellence in care in and out of the dental chair. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, museums, working in her yard, and doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles with and without her 3 children.

MeiLan Mulvey

Front Desk

With a diverse background in the hospitality industry, MeiLan brings a positive, customer-focused experience to the Lipkowitz Dental office. After years of providing excellent customer service and building strong client relationships, MeiLan is thrilled to join our team!
Outside of work, you can find MeiLan at the ice rink, a former competitive figure skater for 12 years, she now coaches children in the sport. She also loves exploring new restaurants on the North Shore.

DENTAL Hygienist

Natalia brings 25 years of experience as a dental hygienist, combining a holistic, compassionate approach with enthusiasm and humor. Licensed through Middlesex Community College, she stays current on the latest dental techniques and technologies. A Gloucester local, Natalia enjoys hiking, dog rescue, and exploring North Shore restaurants with her pups, Roxy and Ruby.

Alexia Vigo, DA

Alexia is passionate about dental hygiene and has over eight years in customer care and office management, making her an asset to our team. Her expertise in patient interactions ensures appointments run seamlessly and efficiently. A former cheerleader with a passion for fitness, Alexia loves staying active—whether at the gym or out for walks with her beloved fur babies.
